X Score is a metric designed to solve the problem of fake followers and artificial engagement on X. It assigns each account a score from 0 to 1000, based on how closely it is connected to a set of influential seed accounts. The score is calculated using the Crypto Twitter Connectivity Graph (CTCG), which maps relationships between accounts through key actions such as retweets, follows, and comments. The algorithm applies exponential decay, ensuring repetitive actions or inflated follower counts cannot artificially manipulate results. To rank accounts, the system measures their proximity to the seed accounts. An account well-connected to most of them will naturally achieve a score closer to 1000. Importantly, the algorithm is robust; variations in the seed sample still converge to consistent results. The scoring system is weighted toward influential accounts. An X Score of 100 out of 1000 means the person is in roughly the top 1% of Crypto Twitter, helping better distinguish truly influential accounts.

X Score provides a far more accurate way to measure influence. Unlike traditional metrics, it is resistant to manipulation and harder to game, while offering deeper insights into how influence flows across Crypto Twitter.
